Dyno Plus
measures the entire performance of a vehicle by measuring
acceleration and time. It calculates speed, distance, power, and
more against time or RPM. It can do measurements of power and
torque in one gear, or power and speed / time through the gears.
Braking time / distance can also be measured. As Dyno Plus is a
two axis unit, cornering forces can be measured at the same time.
It gives a tabulated and graphed output, easily allowing on the
road performance to be tested. The small battery powered data
logging box (110 x 65 x 30 mm) outputs data to a PDA or Laptop
PC and stores it in internal memory. Data is then
processed after the runs on a PC to generate and print power/torque
curves.
Samples up to 100 times per second, accurate to 0.005 g,
resolution to 0.01g. Internal memory stores up to 5 minutes of
data.
Now
also available is the data logger version. This has all the
features of Dyno Plus with:

channels of 8 bit analog data - for example air/fuel
ratio, throttle position, temperature sensor, oil
pressure / temp., knock sensor etc. All recorded at 12.5
samples per second.
Easily
set for different signal levels. Factory preconfigured
with 1 12V range input, 3 5 Volt range inputs and 3 2.5V
range inputs.

channels of digital data - for example injector pulses,
speed sensors, gear sensors, lap counter etc. Recorded at 100 samples
per second.
Tacho
input - suitable for ignition clamps etc. Same signal
conditioning as Road Dyno.
Extra
software to download logged signals, creates text and
spreadsheet (e.g. Excel) output files.
